We are looking for a
Junior Consultant or Consultant (part-time) to join our public sector advisory team in Latvia.
You will work alongside governments, municipalities, and national and international public organisations, helping clients navigate complex economic and social challenges. Your projects will span policy evaluation, climate transition, strategic development, and funding. You will:
- Conduct desk research and data analysis using public sources such as EU directives, national legislation, academic studies, and statistics – working with both quantitative and qualitative data;
- Organise and participate in stakeholder interviews, from preparing questions to capturing key insights;
- Take part in problem-solving sessions (internal team discussions and client workshops) to develop solutions to policy challenges;
- Turn findings into clear, structured deliverables: written reports and PowerPoint presentations for clients and decision-makers;
- Support the development of bids and proposals for new projects.
Requirements:
- You are a recent graduate or final-year student in social sciences or a related field;
- Proficiency in Latvian and English, with strong written Latvian skills – ability to produce detailed, well-structured research reports and policy documents in Latvian;
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for data-driven decision- making;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Interest in working with diverse topics and public sector clients;
- Prior experience in consulting is a plus.
