General Manager

Job Purpose:
The General Manager is responsible for directing, coordinating, and overseeing the overall operations of the hotel/resort, ensuring all departments operate in alignment with the Group's mission, brand standards, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the pre-opening (if applicable), overall operations, and daily management of the hotel in line with company guidelines

Ensure full compliance with Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts' brand standards and operational requirements

Drive Sales & Marketing strategies to achieve targeted business performance

Continuously develop and strengthen the hotel's business base and market positioning

Monitor operational and financial performance, including service quality, guest satisfaction, and profitability

Lead, develop, and motivate the team, ensuring strong employee engagement and high morale

Maintain strong employee relations and a positive workplace culture

Oversee guest feedback, ensuring timely resolution of issues and continuous service improvement

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including owners, partners, and the local community

Stay updated on industry trends and implement relevant innovations within the property
Requirements:

Strong background in international hotel brands
-
Previous experience as a General Manager (upper mid-scale or above)

Pre-opening experience is an advantage

Strong leadership, commercial, and operational expertise
