We are looking to incorporate a professional into our Characterization Laboratory, within the Laboratories area.
What will your day-to-day look like?
Planning and monitoring of productive activities within the laboratory.
Searching for and selecting new equipment and/or accessories based on needs and feasibility.
Providing testing services and technical advisory to both external and internal clients in the automotive sector.
Preparation and/or review of technical reports on results.
Ensuring the implementation of requirements and activities related to the quality system. Participation in internal and external audits.
Monitoring and proposing tasks for the implementation of new testing methods.
Identifying and proposing equipment needs.
Ensuring proper compliance with laboratory work regulations and occupational risk prevention requirements.
Identifying improvement proposals.
Participation in projects (preparation and execution) as a member of Research Groups or as Principal Investigator.
Visiting key clients related to the sector.
Participation in dissemination activities: technical seminars, conferences, outreach articles in newsletters and sector journals, etc.
Participating in training activities related to their area of expertise.

We are looking for a professional with a strong level of leadership, autonomy, initiative, and strategic vision. The candidate should be able to communicate effectively and actively listen to stakeholders, including team members and suppliers. They should also have the skills required to deliver training activities.
Required education:
Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
English level B2 (C1 highly desirable). Fluent Spanish.
Additional training (desirable):
Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Organization, Industrial Automation and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in the following areas: laboratories, quality control, equipment commissioning, analysis, and client interaction.
Experience in internal and external audits.
Experience in the implementation of new testing methods.
Experience in market analysis.
Experience in dissemination activities: technical seminars, conferences, etc.
Knowledge of physical-mechanical, thermal, rheological, and identification testing, among others.
Experience in the preparation of R&D&I project proposals within national and European public funding frameworks will be considered an asset.
Willingness to travel.
Valid category B driving license.
