In the Faculty IV: School of Science and Technology, ET-I / Visual Computing, we are looking for a researcher as of the 01.09.2026 at the following conditions:
• Participation in an Emmy Noether DFG research project
• Research in the field of neural architecture search using machine learning methods
• Support in research and teaching, advising and evaluating students, and assisting with administrative tasks
• Independent development and implementation of research approaches within the project
• Writing scientific papers for international journals and conferences
• Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science or mathematics (or a related field) with a focus on deep learning
• Strong academic background in automated machine learning, particularly neural architecture search and pruning methods
• Teaching experience
• Excellent grades
• Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
• Excellent English skills
