About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and customer-focused Despatch & Customer Service Administrator to join our Ipswich office. You’ll be a key point of contact for trade customers, supporting both front office operations and back-end despatch logistics. You'll thrive in this role if you’re great with people, tech-savvy, and have experience in either building materials, trade supply, or logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare system-generated picking and packing reports
Serve trade customers: process orders, invoices, stock inquiries
Schedule deliveries via internal and external freight providers
Handle inbound calls and emails for orders and enquiries
Process payments (cash, EFTPOS, credit cards)
General administration support as required
What You’ll Bring
Previous experience in building materials or a logistics/distribution setting
Strong communication and time management skills
Ability to multi-task and stay organised under pressure
Confidence using Word, Excel, Outlook
Experience with despatch and sales order software
A team-focused, “can-do” attitude
