The School of Social Work at Renison University College (affiliated with the University of Waterloo) invites applicants for a part-time/sessional teaching opportunity in the MSW Program for the Fall 2024 term (September start date).
To teach in the MSW Program candidates must hold a PhD degree (or near completion), and have a minimum of five years practice experience in social work, including social policy, and/or community engagement.

Course description:
This course offers critical analysis of health policy formulation, implementation, and evaluation related to population health initiatives and health care delivery. The course includes discussion of the role of various regional, provincial, and national agencies in health care policy formation. It examines various health care systems, and their funding as well as investigates how the Canadian healthcare system compares with systems in other countries.
We are looking for an instructor who has experience with online teaching, and whose practice and teaching experience have direct relevance to critical health service delivery framed by a social work knowledge and values system.
