We’re looking for a Maintenance Electrician who takes pride in their trade, enjoys solving problems and wants to be part of a team that keeps a complex site moving.
About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Lead, you’ll be part of a shift-based maintenance team responsible for keeping production and site systems operating safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role working across a mix of processing, conveying and bulk handling systems, along with site utilities and infrastructure. You’ll be involved in both planned maintenance and real-time troubleshooting, with a strong focus on reliability and continuous improvement.
The role operates on a rotating shift roster, offering structured time off across the cycle.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Motors, drives and variable speed drives (VSDs)
- Conveyors, augers, elevators and bulk handling systems
- Pumps, compressors and associated control systems
- PLC-controlled production equipment and automation systems
- Sensors, instrumentation and safety systems
- General site services and electrical infrastructure
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out preventative and corrective electrical maintenance
- Fault finding and troubleshooting across plant and control systems
- Responding to breakdowns and restoring operations safely and efficiently
- Supporting plant upgrades and improvement projects
- Contributing to reliability improvements and root cause analysis
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and shift handovers
- Working closely with operators and the wider maintenance team
- Performing mechanical repairs and maintenance, including fault finding, cleaning and clearing blockages to keep equipment operating reliably
What You’ll Bring
- Trade qualified Electrician
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
- Experience with motors, drives, PLCs and automated plant
- Ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and ownership of your work
- Experience with SCADA systems, including monitoring and troubleshooting plant operations, is highly regarded
