What You’ll Do as an Electric Motor Repair Mechanic In this role, you’ll own the repair process from start to finish, making sure every job meets our standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You’ll: • Participate in the emergency service on-call rotation after completing the initial training period • Disassemble A.C. and D.C. electric motors, pumps, gear reducers, generators, welders, hydrostatics, and other mechanical equipment • Measure components, test, troubleshoot, and perform complete failure analysis on all equipment listed above • Prepare clear, accurate, and timely written estimates for repairs • Repair, replace, reassemble, and perform final testing on equipment • Perform welding, brazing, and precision soldering as required • Represent the company professionally in all communication with customers, vendors, and teammates
What Makes You a Great Fit • High school diploma, GED, trade school coursework, or equivalent experience • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proven mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and retain technical skills • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions • Strong listening skills and attention to detail • Ability to perform and retain a variety of skill-based tasks, training, and operations
What to Expect in This Role • Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs. in a variety of work environments • Participation in the emergency service on-call rotation after training • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and position changes • Close vision and ability to adjust focus • Daily travel with occasional overnight stays • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, with occasional on-call needs
