THE POSITION
The 2026 Grey Cup Partnership Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the execution and fulfillment of all assigned partnership agreements related to the Grey Cup, Grey Cup Festival and its associated events. This includes, but is not limited to, strategic planning, on-site activation, partner servicing, and post-event reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that Grey Cup partners receive world-class service and maximum return on investment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all elements of assigned Grey Cup partner activations, both during Grey Cup week and on game day.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, providing timely support and communication regarding deliverables, schedules, and assets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of contractual obligations.
- Understand the strategic goals and objectives of each partner and proactively recommend opportunities for enhanced visibility and engagement.
- Work with the Partnerships Team to develop and execute custom activation plans, ensuring alignment with both partner and event objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Game Presentation, Events, Marketing, Operations, and Ticketing to ensure seamless integration of partner assets across all touchpoints.
- Manage timelines and deadlines for asset delivery, approvals, and activation logistics.
- Track and report on all elements of sponsorship fulfillment, including proof of performance, metrics, and ROI documentation post-event.
- Assist in the brainstorming and development of new and innovative partnership opportunities that enhance the Grey Cup experience.
- Oversee on-site partner activations, including set-up, execution, and troubleshooting throughout Grey Cup week.
- Ensure all sponsor related materials, including signage, giveaways, and contesting items, are received, organized, and distributed as required.
- Support the Grey Cup Festival team and other departments in the execution of partner-related initiatives.
- Be available to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, during Grey Cup lead-up and event days.
- Perform other related duties as required to support the success of the Grey Cup and its partners.
THE INDIVIDUAL
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
- Experience in sponsorship fulfillment, event coordination, or partnership management (sports, entertainment, or major events preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage relationships with professionalism and tact.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Familiarity with event operations, marketing, and game-day execution is an asset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, especially during Grey Cup Week.
CERTIFICATIONS
- A diploma or degree within a related discipline such as: Business Management, Marketing, Public Relations or Event Planning.
