GreenYellow Colombia is seeking an experienced leader to assume the role of Energy Efficiency Director, responsible for leading and consolidating the business unit, ensuring its sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
Role purpose
Lead the Energy Efficiency business, overseeing the full lifecycle of the project and asset portfolio, ensuring strong technical, financial, and operational performance, while driving the evolution of the business towards more efficient, digital, and scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategy of the Energy Efficiency business unit, ensuring alignment with company and Group objectives.
- Oversee the end-to-end management of the portfolio, from development to execution, operation, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with financial targets, including profitability, EBITDA, and CAPEX efficiency.
- Guarantee delivery of energy and operational performance commitments to clients.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, operations, and energy management.
- Strengthen relationships with strategic clients and key stakeholders.
- Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and the evolution of the operating model.
- Promote digitalization, data-driven decision-making, and innovation within the business.
Profile
- Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related), with postgraduate studies in energy, business, operations, or finance.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience, including at least 8 years in senior leadership roles within energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record managing complex operations, asset portfolios, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong strategic vision, business acumen, and results orientation.
- Experience in client relationship management and value creation.
- Advanced English (B2+ or above).
