What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration. Desirable additional training in financial structuring, investment banking, or project analysis.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial structuring and analysis, preferably in energy, infrastructure, banking, or investment sectors. Preferred experience in M&A processes, Project Finance, or structured financing.
Tecnical knowledge:
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using Excel.
- Preferred experience with financial tools such as Bloomberg, MATLAB, Power BI, or similar.
- Basic understanding of tax and legal frameworks applicable to energy projects.
- Upper-intermediate English (B2), capable of participating in negotiations and technical presentations.
As a Structuring and Financing Specialist, your mission will be to support the structuring, analysis, and execution of financing schemes for renewable energy, energy efficiency, and solar photovoltaic projects, ensuring their economic viability, financial sustainability, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives. Additionally, you will participate in inorganic growth processes by evaluating and supporting acquisitions (M&A), collaborating across key areas to ensure solid, competitive, and viable financial structures.
Here are the specifics of the role:
🪙Financial Analysis and Structuring
- Build and analyze detailed financial models to assess the feasibility of projects and acquisitions.
- Propose efficient financing structures (leasing, Project Finance, Bridge Loans, securitizations, etc.).
- Prepare credit documentation and financial support materials for internal and external processes.
💼 Relationship with Financial Institutions
- Support the preparation and presentation of proposals to banks, investment funds, and strategic partners.
- Follow up on negotiations, credit terms, and progress in financing processes.
📋Support for Acquisition Processes (Sell Side)
- Prepare NBOs, BOs, and assist in structuring SPAs for acquisition transactions.
- Coordinate with legal, technical, and financial advisors for deal implementation and closing.
- Manage documentation and internal approval processes for each transaction.
📈 Monitoring of Contracts and Obligations
- Monitor ongoing debt operations and ensure compliance with financial covenants.
- Follow up on all obligations related to acquisition agreements and ensure timely delivery.
🔧Regulatory Compliance and Audits
- Ensure financing structures and contracts comply with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Support external audit processes related to financing and project acquisitions.
⚡Strategic Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work
- Coordinate with commercial, accounting, technical, and legal teams to ensure financial structures align with operational and regulatory goals.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to support strategic investment and financing decisions.
