Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Business Process Analyst with a strong background in industrial environments to join our team. This is a unique "succession-track" role.
For the first three years, you will focus on the deployment and optimization of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES). As you master the site's digital landscape and build relationships with the local team, you will undergo a mentored transition to succeed our current IT Manager upon their retirement in 2029. This role is perfect for a technical professional who wants to bridge the gap between process engineering and IT leadership
Key Responsibilities
- MES Implementation: Act as the functional expert during the rollout of our MES solution, ensuring the software aligns with the specific complexities of metallurgical production.
- Process Mapping: Analyze existing "as-is" workflows in the plant and design "to-be" processes that improve efficiency, traceability, and data integrity.
- Gap Analysis: Identify discrepancies between standard software features and site-specific requirements, particularly within the metallurgical heat treatment or rolling cycles.
- Succession & Leadership: Gradually assume responsibility for the site’s IT infrastructure, service delivery, and team management (transitioning fully by 2029).
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between the production floor, the central IT department, and external vendors.
Travel: 40% (International/Domestic)
Note on Location: The role is based near Imphy, France. Candidates should be comfortable with the local geography or willing to relocate to the Nevers region.
- Industrial Expertise: Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally within the metallurgic or heavy machinery industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of ERP/MES integrations. Knowledge of PSI Metals is a significant advantage.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to collaborate with production managers to translate complex operational requirements into scalable process maps.
- BPM Skills: Expertise in Business Process Management (BPM) methods. Knowledge of Signavio is an important advantage.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time for the first three years to support cross-site alignment and training.
- Language: Fluency in French and English is mandatory, given the site location and international coordination.
- Leadership Potential: While you may not be a manager yet, you possess the emotional intelligence and organizational skills to lead a service delivery team.
