Flintwood Disability Services is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality day program services across our sites. This role requires a confident and values-driven leader who can balance operational management with hands-on program development and delivery. You will ensure personalised, person-centred programs for Participants while leading and mentoring a team of support staff.
You will work collaboratively with families, external service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure each Participant's goals, independence, and community inclusion are upheld in line with Flintwood's Mission, Vision and Core Values.
Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring programs across day program sites that reflect individual participant goals and promote independence
- Leading, motivating and empowering a high-performing team to consistently deliver results
- Developing and maintaining person-centred operational guidelines and structured, flexible program rosters
- Overseeing rostering with a focus on appropriate support ratios
- Managing financial sustainability, including monthly profit & loss monitoring, budget adherence, and understanding of unit costs and pricing
- Ensuring compliance with NDIS frameworks, relevant legislation, standards and organisational policies
- Utilising information management systems to capture data and implement improvements
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with participants, families, allied health providers and community organisations
- Contributing to strategic planning and longer-term organisational goals
- Fostering a positive, accountable work culture while promoting continuous improvement, social justice, and person-centred practice
Experience
- Qualifications in Disability or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Strong experience developing and delivering programs for people with disabilities
- Demonstrated experience managing and supervising staff in a disability or community services setting
- Sound knowledge of the NDIS, person-centred practices, and disability sector funding
- Experience in rostering, budgeting, and operational management
- Experience working with families, guardians, and external stakeholders
- Experience in using client information management systems and data reporting tools
