What You Will Do:
- Review production schedules and set up the quality assurance plan for upcoming batches.
- Assign tasks to the quality control team, ensuring coverage at critical stages of production.
- Monitor the production floor and conduct random in-line inspections to check garment quality at different stages (cutting, sewing, finishing).
- Verify that sewing techniques, trims, and fabrics meet required specifications.
- Identify defects early in the process and communicate with the production team to correct them promptly.
- Address and resolve any quality-related issues on the spot.
- Coordinate with production supervisors to adjust processes and avoid recurring defects.
- Document quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Supervise the final inspection process to ensure completed garments are up to standard.
- Check for any loose threads, incorrect stitching, or fabric inconsistencies.
- Ensure that garments meet packaging and labeling standards before they are prepared for shipment.
- Maintain thorough records of inspection results, defect rates, and corrective actions.
- Generate quality reports and share findings with relevant departments (production, merchandising, and technical teams).
- Recommend improvements to processes or materials based on inspection data and customer feedback.
What You Will Need:
- Proven experience in quality assurance in garment manufacturing.
- Min. Bachelor's Degree in relevant major (ex: Garment Production)
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and finishing processes.
- Ability to identify defects and recommend solutions.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
