ARC is looking for a full-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk to help us continue to provide the best employment experience for employees; and, continued excellent service for our customers. Description: We’re searching the market for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to be responsible for and ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are accurately routed to the specified destination.by carrying out the following duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate the receipt and shipment of materials for the purpose of ensuring packages are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
- Execute the receiving, storing, issuing, and delivery of materials and supplies; and, complete the required record-keeping.
- Ensure packaging, transporting and distributing of material are completed timely and accurately.
- Conduct physical inventory of stock materials and products.
- Adheres to all safety procedures regarding the transportation and storage of materials.
- Responds to inquiries regarding accounts payable, inventory of goods, delivery receipts, etc., for the purpose of providing requested information and/or referring to appropriate resources.
- Prepare shipments by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing size, weight, description, and other essential details as stated on the invoice or packing slip and purchase orders.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One (1) year of related shipping and receiving experience
- One (1) year of related billing/invoicing experience
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook and Excel
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication
- This position requires the ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks and meet competing deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, resourcefully with minimal oversight
