Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Grants & Partnerships Manager to lead grant sourcing, application, and management efforts for Sproxil from India. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of securing large-scale grants (up to $2 million) and will work closely with global teams while operating from our partner office in India.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, evaluate, and pursue grant opportunities aligned with Sproxil’s mission and strategic goals
• Lead end-to-end grant application processes (research, proposal writing, submission, and follow-ups)
• Develop compelling, high-quality grant proposals and supporting documentation
• Build and maintain relationships with international funding organizations, NGOs, and development agencies
• Manage grant compliance, reporting, and donor communication
• Collaborate with internal teams (product, operations, finance) to align proposals with business goals
• Track grant performance metrics and ensure timely execution of funded projects
• Provide strategic insights on funding trends within India and globally
Requirements
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Development, Public Policy, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• 7–10 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or development finance
• Proven track record of successfully securing grants up to $2 million
• Strong understanding of global funding institutions (e.g., NGOs, DFIs, foundations)
• Excellent proposal writing, research, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote/global teams
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Should be based in Thane, MH and environs
