Location: Mexico City (CDMX)
Are you a proactive finance professional with a "collection backbone" and a passion for accuracy? As our Collection & Coding Analyst, you will be the guardian of Filorga’s cash flow, managing the end-to-end process of customer remittances and outstanding balances. You will play a critical role in ensuring our P&L reflects true commercial activity by resolving complex deductions and maintaining a high-precision Accounts Receivable (AR) ledger. In this role, you will advance Colgate-Palmolive’s purpose to Make More Smiles by transforming financial data into polished, actionable business value.
Cash Flow Oversight & Collection: Proactively secure payments by acting as the primary point of contact for resolving unidentified funds and managing outstanding balances to optimize the collection cycle.
Remittance Validation & Coding: Capture detailed payment information and missing backups to accurately code deductions (pricing, promotions, shipping), ensuring financial transparency and alignment with governance standards.
Reporting & Trend Analysis: Generate and analyze aging reports to identify deduction trends, providing strategic narratives to management to enhance consumer insight and business value.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Cash Application, Logistics, and Sales teams to align on adjustments and settle disputes efficiently.
Stakeholder Service: Manage high-volume inquiries via dedicated mailboxes with a focus on "first contact resolution" to maintain excellence in global customer relationships.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a high-paced Shared Service environment involving hands-on deployment of Order to Cash (O2C) principles.
Technical Skills: Solid understanding of general accounting principles and the ability to conduct root-cause analysis.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Google Tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Word.
Languages: Advanced Business English (Written and Oral) is mandatory.
Systems: Previous experience with SAP, specifically in data extraction and financial analysis.
Advanced Tools: Advanced proficiency in Excel for complex data modeling.
Core Competencies: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Industry Experience: Previous experience in a Global Consumer Goods (CPG) environment.
