Main tasks:
- Perform daily maintenance tasks throughout the hotel
- Monitor water usage, central heating systems, and ventilation systems; read meters
- Ensure lighting and heating are adequate and work efficiently to optimize energy use
- Carry out simple repairs and maintenance; contact specialists when necessary
- Manage larger maintenance projects in consultation with the hotel manager, including sourcing and approving contractor offers, and overseeing the progress and quality of the work
Requirements and skills:
- Vocational training and/or additional relevant education is an advantage
- Experience in similar roles is required
- Technical knowledge and basic understanding of electrical and plumber work is desirable
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance
- Good communication skills, with a positive and flexible attitude
- Strong initiative, precision, and organized work habits
- Awareness of safety and security
