Category Manager – Fresh Food, Frozen & Dairy
Responsible for developing and managing a high-quality fresh food range that offers strong value to customers while ensuring sustainable business performance of key categories including Produce, Meat, Fish, Poultry, Dairy, and Frozen foods.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and lead category strategy for Produce, Meat, Fish, Poultry, Dairy & Frozen
• Develop product range, pricing, promotions, and margin strategy
• Deliver sales, margin, and stock targets across categories
• Manage pricing to ensure competitiveness and value perception
• Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships
• Negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers
• Ensure consistent quality, freshness, and availability of products
• Monitor performance (sales, margin, waste) and take corrective action
• Work closely with operations and supply chain teams
• Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing team
