We are looking for an M&A Manager / Senior Manager to join our Strategy & M&A team
As an M&A Manager, you will play a key role in executing the Group’s M&A and partnership strategy. You will work as part of an international team alongside Adven colleagues and shareholders.
In this role, you will take ownership of M&A transactions across the full deal life-cycle, from origination to execution, closing, and handover to integration. You will be responsible for originating new locally sourced bolt-on acquisitions in Finland, while also contributing to transaction execution across the Baltics and other North European markets.
You will lead due diligence processes and negotiations with counterparties, working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors. This position offers a high level of responsibility and direct exposure to senior decision-makers, with a central role in driving Adven’s M&A agenda across its geographical footprint.
The position is based at Adven’s office in Vantaa, Finland, with a possibility for 1-2 days working remotely. You will report to the SVP, Strategy & M&A.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Lead and manage M&A transactions across the full value chain from origination to closing
Originate and develop new bolt-on acquisition opportunities in Finland
Execute M&A transactions across North European markets
Lead due diligence processes and negotiations with counterparties
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, advisors, and shareholders throughout the transaction process
Contribute to strategy-related projects and analyses

Key Requirements
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering (e.g., Industrial Engineering)
5–7 years of relevant experience (e.g., investment banking, management consulting, corporate M&A, or strategy)
Strong experience in financial modelling and company valuation
Proven experience in managing transactions, including due diligence and negotiations
Experience in stakeholder management and client-facing roles
Interest in or experience from the energy sector
Professional proficiency in English and Finnish
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
Hands-on, proactive, and entrepreneurial approach
Excellent networking, teamwork, and communication skills, including in virtual environments
