The New Zealand National Eye Bank (NZNEB) is a non-profit organisation, partially funded by the Ministry of Health, primarily dedicated to providing corneal tissues for corneal transplants to New Zealanders. It is based in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Auckland, School of Medicine, Grafton, opposite Auckland Hospital.
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Administration and Finance Coordinator to join the New Zealand National Eye Bank based in Grafton, Auckland.
This is a multifaceted and essential role, vital to supporting the financial, administrative, and operational functions of a small, highly committed team dedicated to restoring sight for New Zealanders through corneal donation and transplantation. The New Zealand National Eye Bank provides over 300 corneas for transplant across New Zealand each year, as well as over 200 other tissues for eye surgery.
Working closely with the Business Manager, you will provide end‑to‑end finance coordination alongside general administration and HR support, contributing to the smooth and effective operation of this nationally significant service.

The salary range is $61,701 - $71,000 (pro-rated) per annum, depending on skills and experience
