THE ROLE:
As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a vital role at Prominent Hill working for a Tier 1 client, supporting our hospitality operations teams in maintaining a safe and compliant environment. Your primary focus will be on managing risks, conducting audits, and fostering a culture of safety. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including managers, supervisors, and frontline workers, to ensure alignment with industry best practices and legal requirements.
Salary: $105000 - $120000 + 12% Superannuation
Roster: 8:6 (living/working on site, committing to 12-hour days, and having one week home for what matters most)
Travel: Fly from Adelaide or Port Augusta and be transported to our Village
Oversee health, safety, environment, and quality standards across all hospitality operations within the village
Conduct regular inspections of accommodation, catering, and cleaning services to ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements
Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks for hospitality staff
Monitor and report on hazards, incidents, and corrective actions
Support continuous improvement initiatives for food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards
Collaborate with village management to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff
Ensure emergency response procedures are understood and practiced by hospitality teams

ABOUT YOU:
Certificate III in Work Health and Safety or equivalent qualification (evidence required)
Current SA Manual Driver’s Licence
Experience implementing HSEQ standards in hospitality or accommodation services (FIFO experience is not required!)
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping compliance
Strong understanding of risk management, hazard identification, and incident reporting
Valid working rights in Australia for the next 12 months (sponsorship NOT available)
Ability to confidently pass a pre-employment medical (to ensure you can work safely in remote conditions)
