QSR Cooks/ Cashiers- PT/ FT (Harrah's SoCal)

This job contributes to the QSR department at Harrah’s Southern California Resort success by providing fast, friendly and Exceptional Family-Style Service to all guests with quality food, products and maintaining a clean and comfortable and safe store environment. Our team members are required to have basic knowledge about health and learn about all fresh products to effectively educate our guest.

•    Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.  
•    Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.  
•    Must be at least 18 years of age.  
•    Must be able to work independently, with little supervision.  
•    Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.  
•    Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.   
•    Must present a well-groomed appearance. 
•    Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.   
•    Previous money handling and cash register experience is preferred. 
•    Must be willing to help on the line cook, if needed. 
•    Must be willing to work in other food service outlets. 
 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

•    Must be able to work inside and maneuver throughout assigned station during entire shift.  
•    Must be able to work in a high-temperature environment. 
•    Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. 
•    Must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds and bend, pull and carry stock to refrigerator and cabinets.  
•    Must be able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping counters. 
•    Must possess the manual dexterity to complete required “side work”.   
•    Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.  
•    Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.  
•    Must be able to work variable hours/days including nights, weekends, and holidays.
 

Preference is given to qualified Rincon tribal members and members of other federally recognized tribes.
