As our Senior SEO Strategist, you will be the
primary driver of organic growth for our client portfolio. You will diagnose,
prioritize, and lead. You will be expected to understand each client's business
deeply enough to build a strategy that is specific to them, not a template.
This role is for someone who gets uncomfortable
when they do not fully understand the scope of a problem, and who will not stop
at "rankings are up" if leads are not moving.
Responsibilities:
-
Full SEO audits across technical, on-page, and
off-page dimensions, building your own picture before asking questions.
-
90-day and 6-month roadmaps tailored to each
client's business model and growth stage.
-
Keyword strategies built on intent, not just
volume, with a clear link to conversion potential.
-
Diagnosing performance drops, traffic anomalies,
and ranking fluctuations with root-cause clarity.
-
Communicating complex SEO findings to clients in
a way that is actionable, not academic.
-
Collaborating with the content team to ensure
every piece of content serves a strategic purpose.
-
Surfacing risks and opportunities proactively,
before clients ask.
-
Tracking performance against business metrics, not just SEO vanity
metrics.
AI Search & Modern Visibility:
-
Optimizing content and site structures for
AI-powered search engines, ensuring client content is retrieved and cited by
models like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
-
Applying AEO (Answer Engine Optimization):
structured answers, FAQ schema, featured snippet targeting, and direct-answer
formatting that AI engines can surface.
-
Understanding GEO (Generative Engine
Optimization): how LLMs index and rank content, and how to build entity
authority so clients appear in AI-generated responses.
-
Leading ORM (Online Reputation Management)
strategy, shaping what search surfaces (both traditional and AI) return when a
brand or individual is queried.
-
Integrating SEM data into organic strategy,
using paid search signals to inform keyword prioritization, test messaging, and
close the gap between paid and organic visibility.
Requirements
-
3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in
an agency environment.
-
Deep proficiency in GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog,
Ahrefs/SEMrush.
-
Ability to diagnose and prioritize technical
issues by business impact, not just severity.
-
Strong understanding of search intent and how it
maps to content strategy.
-
Working knowledge of AEO, GEO, and how AI search
engines retrieve and surface content.
-
Familiarity with ORM principles and how to
manage brand presence across search surfaces.
-
Basic understanding of SEM and how paid search
strategy connects to organic planning.
-
Experience communicating directly with clients,
not just internal teams.
-
Proven track record of tying SEO performance to
business outcomes (leads, revenue, pipeline).
What Sets You Apart:
-
You ask "why does this matter to the
business?" before starting any task
-
You have optimized content that started
appearing in AI-generated answers or search summaries
-
You have caught a problem your client did not
know existed and fixed it before they asked
-
You can write a clear, confident client email
explaining a complex issue in plain language
-
You think about SEO as one lever inside a bigger
growth system (organic, paid, AI, and reputation all connected)
What We Don't Want:
-
Task-takers who wait for a list of things to do.
-
Keyword hoarders who report on rankings without
connecting them to outcomes.
-
People who blame the algorithm when results
plateau instead of diagnosing why.
-
Those who give clients what they ask for, not
what they actually need.
