This position is based at our head office in Ville Saint-Laurent. PURPOSE Reporting to the Trade Marketing Manager, the Trade Marketing Coordinator will execute retail centric shopper marketing programs to drive consideration and purchase conversion. He/she is responsible for executing initiatives that improve CCM’s presence and product communication at the retail level, ensuring flawless execution from concept through in store delivery. He/she collaborates closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, sales teams and retailers to execute in store displays and point of purchase materials (POP), including signage, consumer promotions and retail marketing tools, while coordinating production, inventory flow and distribution to retail locations. He/she is also responsible for monitoring, tracking and reporting on retail initiatives, while providing ongoing support to sales representatives and dealers to ensure alignment with brand standards and retail objectives. The Trade Marketing Coordinator must execute shopper marketing initiatives with excellence to make CCM the preferred supplier amongst its retail partners.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Retail Marketing Coordination & Execution • Support the Trade Marketing Manager in the development and execution of point-of-purchase displays (POP), fixtures and other materials initiatives, from initial concept and strategy through production, distribution and in-store delivery, with a strong focus on driving purchase conversion at retail and supporting key product launches; • Coordinate the end-to-end execution of POP initiatives, including collaborating with external agencies on creative and design development, briefing suppliers, overseeing production, developing and maintaining distribution lists, coordinating inventory flow, ensuring brand and quality standards are met, and communicating all updates, changes and key information to sales reps and retailers. • Coordinate the delivery and receipt of marketing materials to and from Distribution Centers (DCs) and retail locations, ensuring accuracy, timelines and proper follow up to support flawless in store execution. • Ensure all in store executions are fully aligned with CCM brand standards and visual identity guidelines.
Dealer and Sales Team Marketing Support • Support the Trade Marketing Manager and Trade Marketing Specialists in the execution of retail marketing initiatives by coordinating dealer needs, including data entry, signage updates, drive to retail programs, contests and other promotional initiatives; • Develop, update and manage marketing tools designed to support sales reps and dealers in retail execution, including promotional items, fixtures, in store graphics, graphic lookbooks and other sales support materials. • Coordinate the inventory management, distribution and ongoing support of technology enabled retail programs, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address operational or technical issues as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. • Knowledge of the retail environment, including in store branding, merchandising and fixtures; • Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail; • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment; • Self starter who takes ownership of assigned projects and follows through on execution; • Creative thinker, people oriented, with strong communication and project coordination skills; • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French; • Solid proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
