Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, your role is, to ensure the administration of payroll and benefits, including related accounting. You will also be responsible for ensuring the optimal management and coordination of employee file management and information integrity in the HR system. You will work closely with the HR leader and HR team, developing and recommending the best long-term solutions and on our processes and programs to optimize the employee experience, and ensure their implementation.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Administration of weekly payroll for hourly employees in Canada (bookkeeping, tax withholding, insurance); • Administration of monthly payroll for employees in Taiwan with our partner SD Worx; • Payroll data entry and follow-up with various stakeholders; • Administration and management of employee benefits and pension plans: enrollment, termination, renewal of agreements, etc.; • Administrative management of CNESST and disability claims; • Creation of reports for the HR dashboard and reports needed to support internal and external use; • Serving as the point of contact for employee inquiries and providing support to managers; • Responsible for HR processes (performance management, annual salary increases, etc.) and data integrity in Dayforce; • In collaboration with the HR team, determine the best use of the Dayforce payroll system with all necessary modules; • Actively participate in the development of the human resources function in collaboration with the business partners team. • Other related tasks as may be required. REQUIREMENTS • DEC in human resources/administration or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration and benefits management; • Good Microsoft Office suite skills, especially Excel; • Knowledge of Dayforce payroll system an important asset; • Interest and ease with HR systems and processes and ability to implement them smoothly. • Sense of customer service; • Sense of organization and autonomy; • Canadian Payroll Association Accreditation an asset • Bilingualism (French and English)
