Summary
The Finance Associate Payroll is responsible for supporting all functions related to payroll and employee benefits administration ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role includes processing payroll, all payroll-related Accounts Payable (AP), benefits payments, employee reimbursements, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Due to the sensitive nature of payroll, the position requires strict confidentiality and a high level of accuracy in all accounting and payroll activities.
This position has some cross-over work with the Human Resources Department in regards to administration and coordination of employee benefits as they related to Finance functions. This role requires the ability to interact professionally with leadership while also effectively communicating with employees regarding payroll and benefits. The Finance Associate Payroll supports internal and external audits and performs reconciliations relating to assigned tasks. These may include but are not limited to: 401k, workers compensation, MN Paid Family Medical Leave (MN PFML), State Unemployment Tax (SUTA), etc.

This individual performs duties as directed by the Finance Manager, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer and according to policies and procedures that govern activity at the Center for Alcohol & Drug Treatment.
