About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Children's Disability Team as a Disabled Children’s Support Worker, providing direct, practical and personalised support to disabled children, young people, and their families. You will contribute to the assessment process and work flexibly across the service to promote inclusion, independence and opportunity.
You will take responsibility for a caseload of children open to Children in Need, ensuring timely interventions, recording work to a high standard, and recognising when to escalate concerns to a qualified Social Worker, particularly where there may be safeguarding implications.
As part of a multi‑agency environment, you will build positive relationships with colleagues, partner organisations and families, helping to ensure joined‑up support. You will also participate in supervision, undertake learning and development opportunities, and contribute to a proactive, problem‑solving team culture.
