Job Description
The Senior Logistics Analyst is responsible for coordinating international and regional shipments, managing sample logistics, and supporting import operations across internal teams. This role ensures accurate documentation flow, timely cargo movements, and effective communication with overseas offices, logistics vendors, and cross functional departments. Additionally, the specialist oversees courier arrangements and vendor billing processes to maintain smooth and efficient logistics operations.
Key responsibilities:
1. International and Regional Shipment Coordination
a. Manage outbound IC shipments from Ambarella Taiwan office to overseas offices, including engineering/customer sample materials.
b. Coordinate inbound IC returns from overseas offices to Taiwan, covering internal offices and external manufacturing partners.
c. Support cross‑functional logistics needs, including PCBA shipments and other department-required international deliveries.
2. Customer and Internal Sample Logistics Management
a. Handle customer RMA cargo arrangements, ensuring timely and accurate routing.
b. Facilitate sample shipments from customers to Taiwan teams for failure or engineering evaluations & analysis.
3. Import Operations Support
a. Execute import procedures for the Buyer team, covering materials and equipment such as PCBA, IT devices, and administrative supplies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and documentation requirements.
4. Document and International Courier Handling
a. Coordinate the preparation and delivery of documents and materials to overseas offices, and other courier services, ensuring accuracy and punctuality.
5. Logistics Vendor Billing and Reconciliation
a. Manage billing processes for logistics vendors, including invoice verification, cost reconciliation, and coordination of payment procedures for carriers.
Requirements:
1. Education background
a. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
b. Equivalent practical experience in import/export or logistics operations may also be considered.
2. Minimum experience
a. 1–3 years of hands-on experience in import/export operations, logistics coordination, or supply chain support.
b. Experience working with international courier services (e.g., FedEx, DHL) and freight forwarders is preferred.
3. Similar or other experiences
a. Experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or tech-related supply chain operations.
b. Familiarity with RMA, sample handling, overseas shipment coordination, and warehouse return processes.
c. Exposure to procurement logistics or cross-functional collaboration with purchasing, engineering, or quality teams.
d. Working experience in an international company or multi-site operation is a plus.
4. Skills
a. Strong understanding of basic import/export regulations, shipping documentation, and logistics workflows.
b. Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word) and comfortable working with ERP or logistics systems.
c. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and overseas offices.
d. High attention to detail, strong organizational ability, and capability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
e. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle shipment exceptions and time-sensitive tasks.
f. English reading and writing proficiency; conversational ability is a plus.
Additional Qualifications:
1. Experience supporting engineering sample logistics, including handling IC engineering builds, FA samples, and cross site shipments.
2. Familiarity with semiconductor supply chain workflows, particularly interactions with foundries, OSATs, and cross border sample return processes.
3. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, engineering driven environment, with strong attention to detail and responsiveness to urgent shipment requests.
