We are a progressive land and engineering survey firm delivering high-accuracy spatial solutions across infrastructure, construction, development and major projects. As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a Senior Geospatial Engineer / BIM Specialist with 5+ years’ experience in survey-driven BIM environments to lead and elevate our digital delivery capability.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who understands both the field and the model and knows how to bridge the gap between real-world data and intelligent digital environments.
The Role
You will lead the integration of survey data into BIM and digital engineering workflows, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance across complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead survey-to-BIM workflows for civil, infrastructure and building projects
Manage point cloud processing, 3D modelling and data federation
Cultivate and drive business development leads and opportunities
Develop and maintain BIM standards, templates and QA/QC processes
Coordinate spatial data with surveyors, drafters, contractors and project stakeholders
Oversee digital engineering deliverables and model validation
Mentor junior surveyors and geospatial team members
Drive innovation in digital survey technologies and automation
What You’ll Bring
· 7+ years’ experience in survey-integrated BIM or digital engineering environments
Strong background in land and/or engineering surveying
Advanced proficiency in:
Autodesk Civil 3D
Revit

Point cloud processing software
Solid understanding of Australian survey standards and spatial data management
Experience delivering infrastructure or large-scale construction projects
Strong problem-solving capability and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise across disciplines
Highly Regarded
Experience with digital engineering mandates (e.g. state infrastructure BIM requirements)
Experience with UAV or mobile laser scanning data
