Basic Requirements:
-Educational Background: A university degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent technicalqualification.-Professional Experience: A minimum of 5–10 years of proven experience in production within a heavy industrial environment, ideallyin sectors such as cement, lime, ceramics, glass, or refractory materials.-Technical Expertise: Strong global technical knowledge combined with specialized expertise in furnace processes, ensuring a deepunderstanding of complex industrial operations.-Language Skills: Fluent English (B2/C1 level) with the ability to communicate effectively in an international business context.Needed Skills:

1. Strategic Plant Management
-Define measurable plant objectives and approve them in cooperation with the Area Production Manager.-Develop and implement management systems in quality, health & safety and fire protection.-Ensure compliance with legislation and identify risks.2. Production and Maintenance Management
-Organize and coordinate production processes with emphasis on quality, deadlines, and production volume.-Decide on urgent purchases and services within internal guidelines.-Supervise equipment and machinery maintenance, plan technical and material activities.3. Financial Management
-Set annual plant budget based on sales forecasts.-Propose and justify investments, monitor implementation of investment projects.-Monitor production costs, analyze ratios, and take corrective actions.4. Quality and Environment
-Organize inspections, tests, and analyses to ensure product compliance with specifications.-Regularly analyze quality and environmental management reports, take improvement measures.5. Leadership and Team Development
-Lead and motivate direct and indirect subordinates (production, maintenance, process management).-Organize regular meetings and evaluate subordinate performance at least twice a year.-Identify training needs and support development programs.6. Health and Safety
-Ensure compliance with health & safety and fire protection regulations.-Validate production processes from safety and environmental perspective.-Monitor use of protective equipment and workwear.7. External Relations and Communication
-Maintain good relationships with suppliers, local authorities, and trade unions.-Represent the plant during inspections, audits, and external meetings.
