The Regional Manager, Business Banking provides leadership to the Business Banking team within the region and is responsible for supporting business development, team performance, and operational excellence.
This role focuses on driving regional growth through strong member relationships, employee engagement, and collaboration across business lines. The successful candidate will help achieve regional financial objectives while strengthening community connections and ensuring team deliver exceptional service to our members.
Band Range: $1
11,038.00 - $129,544.00

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations

Provide leadership, coaching, and support to Business Banking teams within the region.

Support employee engagement, performance management, and workforce planning, including succession planning and talent development.

Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and strong member service.
Regional Operations
- Ensure Business Banking teams operate in alignment with organizational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Approve commercial lending within assigned limits and recommend credit applications exceeding authority.
- Provide guidance on complex business matters escalated by Business Banking teams, including delinquent and watch loan files.
- Support audit and compliance requirements for the region.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow business and expand member relationships across the region.
- Collaborate with internal partners across business lines to support business growth and referral opportunities.
- Develop and implement regional business plans aligned with organizational objectives.
Financial Performance
- Accountable for achieving regional financial goals through effective sales and service initiatives.
- Monitor regional operating expenses and support budget planning and financial accountability.
- Promote the credit union within the region through participation in community and business networks that strengthen relationships and referral opportunities.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a financial services environment, including leadership and portfolio management.
- Strong knowledge of personal and business lending, deposit products, and financial services operations.
- Understanding of commercial real estate and construction lending practices.
- Strong knowledge of the local financial marketplace and regional communities.
