Finnair Technical Operations is responsible for the maintenance and the airworthiness of the Finnair fleet. The key objectives of Technical Operations are safety, reliable flight operations and cost-efficient maintenance processes.
We are now looking for a
PROJECT MANAGER, BASE MAINTENANCE OPS
who will be working as a part of Base Maintenance (BM) Operations team. Your main responsibility will be acting as Finnair representative onsite during BM input. This position requires extensive traveling.
Main responsibilities:
Lead BM input from pre-input meeting until post maintenance meeting.
Represent Finnair at BM MRO, not only airworthiness and technical but budgetary wise as well.
Act as a focal point of contact during BM input towards several shareholders ensuring everyone has the latest information available.
Use of AMOS related to BM input.
Participate and arrange pre- and post-input meetings.
Our expectations:
Proven expertise from aircraft maintenance.
Acknowledge of Part-145 & Part-CAMO requirements.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Problem solving mindset and ability to work with people from different cultures.
Strong project and self-management skills.
Skill to manage several ongoing subjects at same time and to be able to prioritize them.
Flexibility for changing schedules even with short notice.
Willingness to travel extensively.
Experience on different aircraft types and base maintenance is considered valuable.
To be successful in this role, you need to master AMOS.
