The Sales & Network team is responsible for managing all outstation catering and laundry partners worldwide who ensure that Finnair flights departing across the network are supplied with food, beverages, and clean linen for their journeys to Helsinki. This management includes activities such as contracting, order management, menu development, and ensuring operational compliance at each location. In addition to partner management, the Sales & Network team oversees both external and internal sales, with sales to customer airlines being the core activity.
We are now looking for a
SALES AND NETWORK SPECIALIST
to support Sales and Network team in all daily tasks and development projects to ensure that operations are running smoothly. Main focus in this role is on network menu creation, development, maintenance and menu changes while also supporting Customer Airlines management and operations.
In this role, you will:
Support Sales and Network team to retain smooth and functional operations and partnerships with network outstations catering partners.
Work with Network catering partners in identifying and fixing mainly food related catering irregularities, non-compliance.
Act as a key participant in the outstation menu change process, in close communication/collaboration with network catering partners.
Upkeep and maintain system menu, including allergen information and special meals.
Act as a system master user for digital catering tools and assist with user account management (for catering partners and stations).
Provide menu information for IFE menu cards and CIS.
Participate in development of network catering processes together with Sales & Network Manager.
Support Sales and Network team to retain profitable Customer Airline accounts for Finnair Kitchen.
Support Key Account Manager in tasks related to Customer Airlines and act as a back-up.
Support with other potential new business.
Support with development and implementation/training of new catering related systems and tools for Network Catering partners and stations.
Handle internal & external sales orders.
Work with Skyquest and Customer Voice feedback.
From you, we wish:
Minimum of 3 years experience working with Airline Catering and with ERP systems.
B.Sc. (Tech.) or equivalent.
Fluent spoken and written English. Finnish is considered an advantage.
Strong system user skills (e.g., NAV/CBase, Inflight Suite, Flight Browser).
Understanding of software development and system processes.
Strong understanding of business processes.
Excellent teamwork and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Attentive to details and development minded
Customer- and partner-oriented approach.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Previous sales experience is considered an advantage.
