Integration Engineer
The Integration Engineer implements the integration solution design scoped out by the
Integration Architect, ensures a smooth integration between various customer processes, and
that the technical documentation of the customers solution reflects any design changes that
are made during the customer validation process, as well as ensure the customer has the
support needed to become self-sufficient for all standard functionality of the integrations
setup for their solution. Working with the client through the build, customer validation, and
deployment phases of setting them up to use our solution.
Responsibilities
Configure, and develop the data conversions of the interface solutions which connect the
WorkForce Softwares solutions with other customer applications such as SAP, Oracle Peoplesoft,
Workday, Ascender, or ADP
Configure WorkForce Software (WFS) Suite (Time, Scheduling, Integrations, etc.) interfaces and data
elements according to the customer business requirements using JavaScript, HTML, or other
scripting tools
Follow structured processes for gathering requirements, documenting code, maintaining revisions,
testing, and developing quality assurance practices
Help direct client validation of the integrations which have been configured for their specific
WorkForce Software solution
Gather technical requirements for interface changes, and gaps identified during the customer
validation process
Create, or support the creation of knowledge base documents on WorkForce Software integrations,
strategies and data architecture topics
Conduct troubleshooting on import, and export integrations, potentially manipulating incoming
CSV/XML/JSON data files for particular use cases
Participate in the design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of web service
integrations between applications across cloud and/or on-premises environments for customers
who choose to use Web Services (SOAP, REST, etc.)
Support initial deployment of WorkForce Software solution to production, for use by clients general
end users
Implement Single sign-on and API authentication in WFS Suite and on-premise environments
Maintain WFS Product Suite certifications required
Requirements
Minimum 3 years working with SQL and writing complex queries
Minimum 3 years working with JavaScript, HTML, or other scripting tools
Software integration experience is mandatory
Hands on design, development, deployment, and maintenance of integration processes between
applications across cloud and/or on-premises using (Cloud Integration, Application Integration and
Enterprise web services APIs)
Experience in integrating the systems using Web Services (SOAP, REST, etc.) ##LI-DNI
