OH&S Administrator

About the role

Reporting to the National OH&S Lead, you will provide administrative and coordination support to ensure our health and safety processes remain organised, compliant and effective across the business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a safe workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update safety records including incident reports, risk assessments and training records
• Assist with incident reporting, tracking and follow up of corrective actions
• Support the coordination of safety training, inductions and meetings
• Prepare safety communications such as toolbox talks, alerts and internal updates
• Maintain safety registers including incident, hazard, chemical and training registers
• Assist with safety audits and documentation management
• Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, minute tracking and ordering PPE
• Respond to basic safety queries and escalate matters where required

About you

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and interested in developing within the safety field. You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in an administration role
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good written and verbal communication
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• An interest in Work Health & Safety or compliance
