Job Purpose
The Group Director - Communications (Ports & Terminals) will manage all communications activities for DP World’s Global Ports and Terminals pillar.
The Director will sit on the Pillar leadership team and provide senior communications counsel, as well as developing and managing the execution of a strategic and tactical communications plan that will integrate DP World’s key messages, vision, mission, values and brand promise as it relates to the pillar’s business strategy, audiences and commercial objectives.
The role will be responsible for:
Acting as a strategic advisor and communications business partner to senior stakeholders; leading scheduled, regular meetings to ensure alignment and visibility of developments in the business.
Recommending and delivering communications strategies that reflect the specific business objectives and growth priorities at global and regional levels including the tailoring of communications to the needs of customers, employees and other stakeholder groups.
Managing the inputs of other Group Communications Centres of Excellence and external agencies in developing and delivering effective, cost-efficient and measurable implementations of these strategies.
Ensuring that all Business Communications activities are aligned with the global brand purpose and the overall ‘One DP World’ positioning as a provider of end-to-end logistics solutions.
