Technical Buyer - Metallics (12 Months FTC)

Red Bull Racing & Technology is on the hunt for a tenacious and motivated Technical Buyer to join us on a 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract to help us source top-quality Metallic components for our Championship-winning cars.

As a Technical Buyer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our racing machines. You'll be at the heart of our supply chain, driving the process from design to development and manufacturing. You'll be responsible for securing the best quality, delivery, and price for our metallic components, ensuring we stay ahead of the competition.

Responsibilities:

• Navigate the high-octane world of Formula 1, sourcing key metallic components that are critical to our success.
• Work closely with a team of passionate professionals, negotiating with top-tier suppliers to get the best value.
• Use your excellent communication and time management skills to meet tight deadlines and overcome high-pressure situations.
• Build long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring seamless operations across the supply chain functions.
• Apply your technical know-how to interpret intricate technical drawings and manufacturing techniques, making sure every component meets our set standards without compromising on quality.

To thrive in this fast-paced environment, you'll need proven experience in procuring low-volume, high-complexity components under pressure, along with a track record of identifying and negotiating with top suppliers to secure optimum quality, delivery, and price. A strong technical understanding and mechanical competence, with the ability to interpret technical drawings is essential. Additionally, you'll need the ability to work harmoniously with various departments to enhance supplier delivery performance, as well as exceptional communication skills to liaise confidently at all levels, across multiple business areas.
