The purpose of the
role will be to manage a part of the finance function from source entries to
Trial Balance for various African entities. with a focusing on supplier
reconciliations between financial, operational, and external financial
information.
The role will
oversee the financial control, ensuring all accounting entries are booked
correctly in the General Ledger. as well as all reconciliations between
financial, operational, and external financial information are performed.
Responsibilities:

Ensure the finance team is a strategic partner
to the business

Full responsible for ensuring accurate
financial record keeping

Responsible to ensure accurate reconciliations
between operational and accounting systems and balance sheet
reconciliations for all suppliers
-
Supporting the year-end, interim and all
month-end processes and reporting
-
Responsible for supporting auditors during the
external audit process
-
Provide feedback and address audit points
-
Ensure applicable policies and processes are
created, documented, reviewed, signed off and adhered to
-
Developing strategies to minimize financial
risk
-
Responsible for providing direction and
support on the organisational budgeting process applicable to all the
entities of Korridor
-
Regularly review the overall organisational
expenditure to ensure the expenditure of all entities remain within budget
-
Continued analysis and review of current and
new systems
-
Report on and resolve exceptions caused by
system errors
-
Action requests from the FM as requested
Requirements
-
BCom Accounting Degree or equivalent
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar
position if qualified or 8-10 years if not qualified
-
Previous experience in multinational company
will be advantageous
-
Good understanding of financial, tax and
commercial legislation across multiple African territories

Experience in Accounting Software and Payroll
