Leading Hand / Senior HD Fitter — 2:2 Roster | Owner-Operated Gold Mine | Full Time

Location: MT Ida, Menzies WA (site workshop, ~7 min from camp)

Employment Type: Permanent, direct hire

POH: Will consider all capital city Australian airports

About the Role

As a Leading Hand / Senior HD Fitter, you’ll lead by doing. You’ll mentor a small crew, maintain high standards, and keep the mobile fleet running. You’ll rotate across crews and provide hands on technical guidance and QA/QC oversight. You can be required for both field breakdowns and working within the site workshop.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and support your team to meet performance targets.
• Plan and execute mechanical maintenance, repairs, and reliability tasks.
• Conduct QA/QC on completed work, reducing rework and machine returns.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex faults.
• Interface with workshop, operations, and management to align priorities.
