We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Partnerships Manager to join our Melbourne Renegades team. This pivotal role is responsible for key account management of commercial partners and the delivery of related match day and non-match day partner activations and events for the Melbourne Renegades.
💪 The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the existing partner portfolio and secure new partnerships, ensuring the seamless delivery of all agreed sponsorship benefits.
- Lead day-to-day partner communications, fostering strong, long-term relationships that maximise value and return on investment (ROI).
- Serve as the primary liaison for all internal and external partner delivery requirements.
- Plan and execute all partner activations, programs, and events across match day and non-match day platforms.
- Design and implement integrated sponsorship strategies that align with and support partners’ strategic objectives.
- Develop a deep understanding of partners’ marketing strategies, creating and evaluating innovative concepts that drive mutual success.
- Prepare and manage sponsorship agreements, clearly outlining deliverables, timelines, inclusions/exclusions, and performance measures.
- Deliver event management support across all home fixtures (and away fixtures where required), coordinating sponsorship activations, exclusive partner experiences, and associated activities.
- Support the coordination of player obligations, including Melbourne Renegades player appearances, ASAs (where applicable), and compliance with Cricket Australia reporting requirements.
- Contribute to the development, execution, and promotion of the match day hospitality program for BBL clubs, while assisting in the management of key hospitality stakeholders (e.g. sales providers, event companies, venues).
🎯 About You
Essential:
- Proven work history in a similar senior role
- A self-driven and highly motivated person prepared to roll up their sleeves and 'get it done'
- Capable of delivering an end-to-end solution for current and prospective partners
- Able to think creatively and deliver ideas for partners and the greater business
- Demonstrated builder of relationships at all levels
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work within a small team environment
- Valid driver's licence
- Working With Children Check (Employee).
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant degree i.e. Business, Marketing, etc.
- Previous Corporate Partner experience, preferably within a sporting body
