Title and Summary
Director, Product Management – Corporate Solutions, Canada (Toronto)
The Director, Corporate Solutions Product Management Canada, is accountable for defining and executing the Canadian commercial product strategy across card based and new payment flow solutions to ensure Canadian market needs are translated into scalable, compliant, and commercially viable product solutions that drive growth, client adoption, and competitive differentiation. The role drives product
launches/enhancements, roadmap prioritization, and market delivery in close partnership with Global and Regional Product Management, Canada Account Management, Business Development, Services, Technology Account Managers and Product Delivery, and external financial institutions or fintech partners (issuing and acquiring). The ideal candidate has prior commercial payments experience, card and virtual platform experience, and is passionate about customer experience, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and a strong communicator.
In this client-facing position, you will:
• Define and own the Canada commercial product roadmap, aligned to regional growth priorities and global Mastercard capabilities
• Translate Canadian market needs into clear product positioning, value propositions, and roadmap priorities
• Monitor product performance using key commercial metrics (e.g., GDV, revenue contribution, adoption, and client penetration) and provide updates to the leadership and business development team. Signal any performance anomalies
• Serve as a product subject matter expert for key Canadian financial institution partners, leading client engagements, RFPs, workshops, QBRs, and complex deal structures to drive adoption and long-term growth
• Lead cross functional collaboration and product updates across Account Management, Business Development, Technology Account Management, Product Delivery, Legal, Pricing and Interchange, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing performance
• Ensure all products meet Mastercard governance standards, regulatory requirements, and operational readiness expectations in Canada (e.g. RPAA, Bill 96)
• Review and edit product collateral and case studies to ensure compliance with Canadian requirements (language, regulation, interchange logic)
• Deliver product enablement and adoption of new commercial products in market

• Possess strong intellectual curiosity with effective research skills to understand and summarize complex topics quickly while developing actionable recommendations
• Comfortable diving into technical documentation to understand product nuances and capabilities
• Self-starter / motivated to work independently and as an effective team member. Efficient project management skills with capacity to manage many ongoing, important initiatives simultaneously
• Great interpersonal and collaborative skills to develop relationships and partnerships with a broad range of individuals throughout the organization
• Passion for technology, corporate payments, and strong desire for continuous learning
• Demonstrated experience or competence in the following:
o Corporate/Commercial payments
o Product management
o Developing and executing go-to-market plans
o Virtual Card technologies, use cases, and value propositions
• Bachelor's degree; or equivalent

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in Canada, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive pay based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
