Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will supervise and coordinate warehouse activities to support incoming and outgoing shipments and maintain a smooth flow of raw materials to production lines. You will oversee processes for receiving, storing, packaging, and distributing materials, ensure accurate documentation, and guide a team responsible for transporting and loading materials. You will promote safe work practices, monitor equipment, and manage inventory control activities for the Indianapolis, IN plant.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
Coordinate warehousing operations to support production needs.
Maintain timely loading, unloading, and scheduling of products and ingredients to meet plant and corporate objectives.
Oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure efficient handling of raw materials and customer orders.
Establish and maintain warehousing rotation and hold programs.
Champion Inventory Control Discipline which includes but not limited to, FIFO (First In First Out), FEFO (First Expired First Out), cycle count process per Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements, timely disposition of questionable inventory, and monitor obsolete/slow moving inventory.
Enforce plant safety programs, including compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Monitor the warehouse environment and team members to identify and eliminate unsafe conditions or work practices.
Monitor equipment, submit work orders for repairs, and recommend changes that support safe operation.
Train individuals on safety procedures, including forklift and hand‑jack operation, loading methods, and trailer operation.
Train, motivate, and monitor performance of warehousing employees; recognize strong performance and take corrective action when needed.
Drive initiatives to reduce cost through labor controls, damage reduction, and implementation of methods and tools that improve productivity.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with external contractors to coordinate scheduling and ensure timely completion of work.
Take end-to-end ownership of the warehouse and its core processes, driving continuous improvement while coaching and developing team members to support growth and performance.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
2+ years supervisory or leading teams experience within a warehouse environment
SAP and OTP (Oracle Transportation Management) preferred experience.
Proficient with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and MS Word & Excel.
Strong communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Self‑motivated individual who can manage multiple tasks and lead others.
Experience in food processing and/or manufacturing is a plus.
Forklift operating experience is a plus.
High school diploma or GED required.

Compensation
Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
