Position Purpose:
The Assistant Manager - US Benefits Shared Services is a dynamic utility player on the HR team. In this role, you will work collaboratively alongside other team members to support US HR operations, with a strong focus on leave administration and benefit programs. Working hand-in-hand with the HR Manager, Benefits Director, Operations Leaders, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams, this position balances specialized leave support with generalist responsibilities to achieve operational objectives, drive retention, and maintain smooth, employee-facing operations.
Job Description:
Collaborate with the HR team to manage the end-to-end intake, review, and tracking of employee medical leave requests, ensuring strict compliance with FMLA, ADA, and FYML guidelines.
Handle day-to-day employee relations issues to support team members while simultaneously supporting operational objectives.
Support and oversee core processes for new hire administration, onboarding, payroll, leave administration, unemployment compensation, and workers’ compensation.
Provide coaching and support to supervisors to ensure champions are managed in a way that meets client deliverables and adheres to Everise standards.
Maintain a strong presence and actively engage with supervisors and champions via communication platforms to ensure connectivity, high morale, and smooth system functionality.
Support local programs that attract, retain, and engage employees, while facilitating smooth upward and downward internal communication
Execute other operational duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Knowledge
At least 2 years of experience in US HR operations, specifically specializing in US benefit administration.
Previous experience assisting with US benefit billing
Previous experience working in a multi-location or large workforce/BPO environment.
Strong foundational knowledge of US labor laws and federal/state leave regulations.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Hands-on experience with Workday and ServiceNow is highly preferred.
Must be amenable to working a permanent night shift supporting US business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST / 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM PHT depending on DST)
