Job Description:

• Plan, organize and perform tests in the field or laboratory (durability, performance, safety and ergonomics tests).

• Analyze test data and investigate mechanical/electronic failures, proposing technical improvements.

• Instrumenting vehicles and using data acquisition systems.

• Prepare technical reports, reports and operational procedures.

• Organize test logistics and supervise test pilots or technicians.

• Ensure compliance with technical standards and regulations.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

• Validate vehicle designs (new or improved) through physical, simulated and field tests, ensuring they meet technical, safety and performance requirements.

• Knowledge in vehicle dynamics, automotive systems and technical standards.

• Knowledge regarding components of vehicle.

Software Knowledge:

• Microsoft Office user-level, intermediate or advanced to prepare reports, graphs and presentations.

• Schedule SW, such as MS projects. (would be considered a plus)

• Experience with DRW SW such as CAD and NX as well as space vision or similar.

Experience:

• Long term experience in Powertrain development.

• Experience in automaker companies.

• Experience with DRW SW such as CAD and NX as well as space vision or similar.

• Experience with simulation tools and vehicle instrumentation and measurements.

• NVH – Noise, Vibration and Harshness technical knowledge and testing. (would be considered a plus).

• Chassis dynamics – technical knowledge and testing. (would be considered a plus).

Education:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering related areas.

Languages:

• Mandatory: Advanced English.

• Desirable: Spanish.

Work type:

• Hybrid (4x1).

Workstation:

• NBA – Resende, RJ;

Travel:

• Availability to do domestic and international trips for the sector (could travel to other Nissan sites abroad).
