THE ROLE
The Director of Talent Acquisition & Mobility is a senior HR leader reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and serves as a member of the HR Leadership Team. This role is responsible for setting and executing the firm’s enterprise strategy for global talent acquisition and mobility, shaping how MFS attracts, develops, and moves talent across the organization.
As a key strategic partner to HR and business leaders, the Director leads the creation of an integrated internal and external talent marketplace, advances inclusive and high-impact hiring practices, and strengthens leader and recruiter capability through coaching and development. The role leverages data, digital tools, and workforce insights to enhance candidate and employee experience, enable workforce agility, and support MFS’s long-term business and talent priorities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Leadership, Coaching & Capability Building
Build and lead a high-performing Global Talent Acquisition & Mobility organization through intentional coaching, regular feedback, and targeted development of team members.
Establish clear expectations, standards, and rhythms for people leadership, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
Develop future-ready TA and mobility capabilities aligned to evolving skills, technology, and business needs.
Relationship Management & Strategic Partnership
Serve as a trusted partner to HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence, and senior business leaders to align talent acquisition and mobility strategies with business priorities and workforce plans.
Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management by intentionally building strong relationships within HR and across the enterprise, proactively engaging to understand business needs, influencing outcomes and resolving issues.
Influence and advise leaders on hiring, talent movement, and workforce risks using market insights and internal data.
Talent Marketplace (Internal & External)
Design, implement, and evolve a holistic talent marketplace strategy that connects external hiring, internal mobility, early career pipelines, and global mobility into a cohesive ecosystem.
Enable greater visibility of internal talent, opportunities, and career pathways to support retention, development, and equitable access to growth.
Lead and evaluate recruiting programs and partnerships (e.g., co-op, internships, rotational/early career) to attract, assess, and convert talent at scale.
Oversee global mobility strategy and partnerships, ensuring compliant, employee-centered, and business-aligned movement of talent across geographies.
DEI & Employee Experience Partnership
Partner with DEI & Employee Experience and People Analytics teams to embed inclusive, equitable practices across hiring, assessment, and talent movement.
Use candidate and employee feedback, listening data, and experience insights to continuously improve the talent lifecycle.
Ensure the external employment brand and internal talent practices reinforce MFS values and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Data & Digital Literacy
Demonstrate strong data and digital literacy, using recruiting, labor market, and workforce insights to inform strategy, assess outcomes, and guide decisions.
Leverage technology, analytics, and emerging digital capabilities (including AI-enabled tools) to drive scalable, efficient, and evidence-based talent practices.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for HR and business leaders.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
12-15+ years of leadership experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility, or related talent functions within a complex, global organization.
Proven experience leading and developing teams through coaching and feedback.
Demonstrated success partnering across HR and senior business leadership.
Strong data literacy and comfort leveraging analytics, technology, and digital tools to drive decisions.
Deep understanding of inclusive hiring practices, talent mobility, and modern talent marketplace concepts.
PREFERRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Prior enterprise ATS implementation/experience.

Base Salary Range: $159,500.00 - $240,000.00 This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus.At MFS, we believe in fair and transparent compensation. For that reason, we’re including the salary range for this position. This range reflects our good-faith expectation for what we’ll pay depending on the candidate’s experience, training and education. In addition to the salary, we also offer significant and competitive incentive compensation based on both individual and company performance. Other components of our Total Rewards Package include:
MFS contributes an amount equal to 15% of your base salary to your retirement account that is separate from the company -sponsored 401(k)
