Job Description
Looking for talented individuals to join our collaborative team as we rapidly expand our best-in-class solution capabilities in the Industrial digital solutions (IIoT, Digital Twin, Data Sciense, etc.). Targeting candidates excited to work with new and emerging data analysis, algorithm, IIOT, machine learning, and deep learning technologies. Seeking people who have proven capabilities in extracting and unveiling the value behind data, the desire to consult with clients to understand and guide their industrial digitalization journeys, and the willingness to be a collaborative implementer of these solutions. Need to embrace human centric design approaches to provide modern user experiences layered on top of traditional manufacturing environments. We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic data scientist with a can-do attitude to join our talented team!
Your Responsibilities:
- Be part of digitialzation project delivery team, develops and deploys AI / ML solutions and architectures into customer end-to-end projects
- Consult with clients to understand their industrial digitalization needs and guide them through the transformation journey
- Supports cross-functional development activity in various Data Science, IIoT, Digitial Twin projects, for internal and external customers
- Leverage Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk InnovationSuite or open-source technologies as the foundation to deliver services through standard apps and customized solutions.
- Also act as technical consultant during project pre-sales stage, including investigation, solution design and presentation to end users for winning the opportunity
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Master or equivalent degree in computer science or related to AI / ML
- Willing and able to travel and work at client sites. Travel can vary on assignment from 0% to 100% but can average 30%
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, software engineering, management information systems, or related field
- Advanced degree in Data Science, AI/ML or related discipline required
- Experience in AI/ML project delivery in various industrial vertical, such as life science, auto & tyre, discrete, food & beverage, MMM, etc.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with systems development lifecycle and system/process documentation
- Experience with server-side architectures
- Experience with ML Libraries, R, Python, Scala, or related programming languages
- Experience in machine learning, deep learning, machine vision, LLM, AI, etc.
- Familiar with manufacturing industry data analysis processes, such as motor vibration monitoring, predictive maintenance, parameter optimization recommendation, and automated closed-loop control
- Familiar with data governance, time series data analysis, discrete data analysis
- Familiarity with Edge and Container compute concepts
- 5+ years of experience implementing data science models in industrial project use case
- Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Masters or PhD in Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in software project delivery in manufacturing environments
- Experience with the design and configuration of Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Analytics, ProductionCentre Application Suites (CPG Suite or PharmaSuite), PTC ThingWorx, & Kepware
- Experience with time-series process modeling and control.
- Programming background with languages such as Python, C/C++. Knowledge to quickly learn new programming language as need arises.
- Familiarity with automation applications (control, monitoring, … especially real-time deployment)
- Background in one or more of the following disciplines: electrical engineering, computer science, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, data science.
