POSITION SUMMARY: Project Coordinators are responsible for performing a wide range of administrative duties including, but not limited to the coordination, preparation, processing, distribution and tracking of all construction documentation associated with the project. They provide direct support to the Project Managers and other members of the Project Team.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: • Confidently communicate with all project team members including, but not limited to the Client, Architect, Engineer, Subcontractors, Project Managers and Field Personnel to coordinate and communicate project needs and requirements. • Coordinate, prioritize and organize multiple requests on multiple projects with fast-paced schedules to meet shifting deadlines. • Utilize software programs and templates to fit specific project and team needs. • Process, distribute and track all financial, contract, material and safety documents associated with a project. • Coordinate and support all areas of the project from startup to closeout. • Provide support to field supervision. • Work closely with accounting, legal and insurance departments to ensure all required documentation is complete • Provide back-up assistance to other project coordinators during absence and peak workload • Assist with coverage of the front desk during receptionist’s breaks and short absences
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • High School Diploma/GED • Minimum 1-3 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment • Previous construction or related industry experience preferred • Solid understanding/proficiency with desktop software • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Strong time management, written and oral communication skills, multi-tasking and organizational skills are required. • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
