Working closely with external support partners and internal cross-functional teams, the New Restaurant Support Analyst is responsible for providing technology related oversight to support new restaurant build projects.
Vendor Management (50%):
- Initiate introduction processes and be the point of contact between Franchisees, support partners and KFC internal teams
- Ensure contracts are completed and signed between Franchisees and applicable support partners
- Work closely with external support partners during all project stages including coordinating and leading regular cadence meetings to ensure project timelines are being achieved
- Assist in identifying and removing potential roadblocks to keep processes running smoothly
- Support Franchisees with monthly support partner billing concerns
Asset Management (20%):
- Work directly with Franchisees and internal cross functional teams to review restaurant technology procurement requests helping to ensure they meet restaurant layout requirements
- Prepare and submit finalized technology procurement requests for invoicing
- Work with external support partners to ensure technology equipment is sourced, allocated and prepared for staging
- Align with external support partners to oversee asset management database for inventory tracking and warranty purposes
- Work with POS equipment provider relating to inventory replenishment and invoicing
- Process RSC technology inventory and procurement requests for RSC team members (hardware /software /mobile)
Administration and Support (25%):
- Provide first point of contact for Franchisee /restaurant team relating to IT technology during initial restaurant openings. This project phase may include afterhours/weekend support
- Complete restaurant onboarding activities with internal and external systems
- Actively participate in cross function NRO related meetings
- Support in the RSC team member onboarding activities (ID setup, building access, technology requirements (hardware /software))
- Coordinate ad hoc technology support for RSC facilities (meeting room technology setup /support)
Continuous Improvement of internal IT processes and user experience (5%):
- Support the development of processes for transitioning restaurant support to sustaining teams
- Document lessons learned and identified areas for continuous improvement
- Help enhance and develop the effectiveness of existing operating processes and procedures by actively contributing to the NRO playbook to ensure technology related processes and procedures are kept current.
Education/Certifications
Required:
- Technical College degree combined with equivalent work experience
Preferred:
Experience
- 2 years of Information Technology, Project Management
- Experience operating within an ITIL or ITSM aligned organization
- Experience working with 3rd party support partners
- Excellent critical thinking and practical decision making with the ability to think outside the box and explore innovative solutions to recurring issues
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, attention to detail and consistent follow-through to ensure problems are resolved
- Ability to manage multiple process streams simultaneously
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with employees in all departments and at all levels of the organization
We’d prefer this role to have…
- QSR, Restaurant and/or Retail experience
- French Canadian language skills, both written and verbal is an asset

The expected salary range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000 CAD. Final compensation will be based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
