[What the role is]
Deputy Manager (Data Analysis and Surveys), Student Development & Recognition works with the 3 ITE Colleges and various HQ Divns to support the Educational & Career Guidance of our students, graduates and alumni, tracks our graduates’ employment & employability though the Graduate Employment Surveys, and fosters the building of overall alumni relations. In addition, this role encompasses the administration and coordination of Special Educational Needs (SEN) support for full-time students, ensuring inclusive practices and effective delivery of tailored developmental initiatives. He or She reports to an Assistant Director.
[What you will be working on]
- Manage Special Educational Needs (SEN) Work
- Liaise with Colleges to collate SEN, counselling and SEN Fund data for periodic reporting.
- Collate the list of students declared SEN conditions and MOE Health.
- Provide administrative support to the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Workgroup.
- Preparation of slides for reporting at MOE Management Meeting with Polytechnic and ITE (MMPI).
- Liaise with vendors for internship and employment support for SEN students and graduates.
- Provide support and insights to areas of work under Student Services, which include data maintenance, data processing, etc.
- Tabulate, and visualise student, graduate, and Graduate Employment Surveys (GES) data & records and make the necessary steps for ITE to enhance efforts to increase employment and employability of ITE graduates
- Lead the various ITE GES and digital projects and following up on feedback received especially on employment and employability
- Submit GES datasets to various government agencies like MOE
- Study, analyse & interpret student & graduate data for policy initiatives and delivery of ITE student & graduate services
- Handle payment systems and reconciliation of finance journals
- Review and refining processes and support the digitalisation needs of the Dept and Division
- Process and manage student records in ITE’s student administration system
[What we are looking for]
- Have at least 3 years of relevant working and industry experience in surveys, and research methodology
- Strong IT knowledge, proficient in digitalisation and knowledge of SQL will be an advantage
- Good organisational and event management skills
- Flair for data & finance-related work
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and welcome challenges.
